Carrots Bar

Together with Nouv Werk (interior design) and Lokal Container (visual identity), we were responsible for designing and producing the lighting for Carrots — a cozy, basement cocktail bar in SCBD Jakarta.

Our goal was to support the warm and playful character of the space through subtle yet responsive lighting. The main custom fixture above the bar was designed as a visual anchor and comes with an intuitive control system. It can be adjusted wirelessly using a phone or tablet, and it’s also reactive to sound — allowing the light to respond dynamically to the surrounding music or ambient noise.

Throughout the venue, we applied soft accents and dimmable fixtures to help build a relaxed and social atmosphere, while also complementing the wood textures and graphic elements in the room. The lighting was made to be flexible, so the space can shift easily from quiet evenings to livelier weekend nights.
